Who says you can’t wear a sparkly top to go eat some pulled pork sliders? NOBODY!
This top is my new favorite layering piece. Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner are wearing sheer tops all the time now and although i'm not going bra-less just yet...I totally understand why. They're comfortable to wear and add just the right amount of sexy to any outfit.
I'm wearing one here with a lacy Céline camisole (probably more like negligee) I luckily picked up at a sample sale. Of course I wanted to wear it right away. I thought when purchasing it that I "would have absolutely nowhere to where it", but I just had to have it. Like some of the other designer pieces I've picked up from either thrifting or going to sales, I promised myself I wouldn't let this beautiful item just hang in my closet.
Adding denim is a perfect way to make any outfit more casual. In order to get use out of the fancier pieces that I own I either throw on a pair of light wash denim, a jean jacket, or in this case... both.
Try it out! Next time you go out to eat with friends, on a date, or even to work - pick out something in your closet that you may love, but think is too dressy, and pair it with some denim. You'll be glad to get use out of those items you may have spent a little extra money on and have been waiting for the "right occasion" to wear them. Hey, life's too short to let things rot in your wardrobe!
