I do try to rep as often as I can. I find that I enjoy saying I'm from Detroit (although... I really am from the burbs) and i'm happy to be posting this in honor of the fact that I am flying home for a week this Friday! Since I moved to the west coast I have yet to be back to Michigan in the summertime. I cannot wait to go tubing on the lake, eat Yoz Yogurt and test out my longboard where there's barely any hills... ha. Although the many changes happening in my life right now are exciting/positive ones, it will be nice to get some real hometown R&R.
I often wore oversized tees when I lived in Los Angeles, so I was excited when we had our first couple of really hot days here in Seattle. I finally broke out my favorite one. I love the small holes along the cuffs, hem, and neckline. Although my legs aren't the longest, I do have a fairly long torso. This means that even if the t-shirt is long, my undies will still show if I don't wear shorts. Throwing on a pair of running shorts underneath is a must and they also add to the "athleisure" look if they show.
I usually only wear gold accessories and in this series I am wearing one of my staples. The infamous middle school science professor in the 90's who's shirt is tucked into his jeans... Casio watch. For a whopping $65 I have been able to read the time digitally (analog clocks are sooo inefficient) and sloppily wash my hands without worry. The downside is that I somehow set an alarm for 10:15 pm that went off every day for three months until my bff visited and used her genius to turn it off. Looks cute, though, and goes with everything I wear.
I could also write more than you needed to know about my other pieces, but I'll save that for another time...or be happy to fill you in if you ask about anything you see in my photos.
